What is the PayPal payment method and how much does it cost?

PayPal is an international online payment system. By linking your bank account or card to your PayPal account, you can make secure online purchases, transfer money to family and friends and accept payments and donations.

With PayPal, as a user of the Walutomat website, you can:

  •     deposit funds into the Wallet,
  •     initiate the exchange by transfer.

Supported currencies*: PLN, EUR, USD, GBP, CHF.

The PayPal deposit method is available against payment.

The rates are:

  •     1.5% of the deposit amount for EUR and PLN;
  •     1.8% of the deposit amount for USD, GBP and CHF.

You can use funds stored in PayPal or a card linked to your PayPal account to fund your Wallet.

A single deposit of EUR 10,000** is possible, while the monthly limit is EUR 15,000**.

To use the PayPal method, it is necessary to have a residential or business address in the European Economic Area (EEA) on your Walutomat profile. The PayPal account also needs to be registered with the same details as those given on Walutomat. Deposits can only be made from the PayPal account belonging to the owner of the Walutomat profile, the data on both accounts should be the same.

The method is not available for the first payment.

It is not possible to withdraw from the Wallet  to a PayPal wallet.

The rules and regulations for this method are available at: https://www.walutomat.pl/en/terms-and-conditions/

 * Selecting an account or card in PayPal when depositing in a currency other than the deposit currency declared in the Wallet Machine will result in automatic currency conversion by PayPal.

** Amounts in other currencies are converted to EUR on the transaction date at the NBP exchange rate. The method is not available for the first deposit.
